CMS has announced recommended increases to key payment systems. The reimbursement increases are to provide better alignment between providers and continued movement toward a unified payment system for the key post-acute care providers, LTACH, IRF and SNF. Data gathering has also undergone further refinement, moving toward the proposed PAC PPS. The proposed new rules for Home Health Agencies are expected to take effect in July, 2019.
