Our COVID-19 survey heard back from over 100 leading healthcare professionals. Their response yields a clear picture of where industry executives stand. Health system C-suites are somewhat uncertain as to how ready American healthcare industry is prepared to deal with a fast spreading virus like COVID-19. The answers show that everyone is working as hard as possible to get as prepared as possible. Everyone seems to understand that we must be prepared, come what may.

We received a full spectrum of responses. The biggest worry is supply and drug chain disruption. The list of additional concerns centers mainly on misinformation in the media leading to public panic, staffing interruptions, as well as unknowns about the virus. Responses also yielded insight into the potential impact to profits, the importance of government support and direction, and the steps hospitals and healthcare organizations are taking to prepare for COVID-19.
