Monica Hon is a Vice President and Director of Client Solutions at Advis. 

With over 18 years of experience, Monica is a major component of Advis’s success. She applies her broad scope of knowledge, expertise and leadership skill throughout a myriad of services offered by Advis. These services require a detailed understanding of healthcare operations and compliance, the very foundation upon which Ms. Hon has built her results-oriented approach and reputation for success.

Throughout her years at Advis, Monica has spearheaded numerous complex projects involving strategy development and execution, regulatory compliance, new facility feasibility and development, and facility management/ turnaround. She has also executed various state Certificate of Need projects to achieve necessary approvals for expansions, new development, and acquisitions. Most recently, Monica’s has added SNF/hospital business office, billing, and coding services to the Advis acute and post-acute operations service line.

Monica has been instrumental in creating many of the feasibility, strategy, development, management and audit models that comprise significant Advis product lines. Monica leads client engagements that span numerous provider types, from independent physicians to ASC, IDTF, and hospital venues. Her experience spans various healthcare specializations in behavioral health, post-acute are, hospital and provider credentialing, and billing. As a nationally recognized expert in the Medicare provider-based space, she works with a variety of institutions, such as acute care and specialty hospitals, multi-hospital complex healthcare systems, and academic medical centers, to ensure optimum utilization of this federal program.

Before joining Advis, Monica gained more than 7 years of well-rounded management experience in industries such as consumer finance, telecommunications, and transportation. She received her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law after receiving her B.A. in English from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Monica is bilingual in English and Spanish and donates her time to several non-profit organizations. Advis is lucky to have Monica on our team.
